Visual Skills

PERCEPTUAL & MOTOR SKILLS AFFECT LEARNING, INTERACTING WITH OTHERS & RESPONSES

VISUAL PERCEPTUAL SKILLS are the skills that a child uses to make sense of what he or she sees.

VISUAL MOTOR SKILLS are the body's actions to respond to the visual information being processed in the brain.

The eyes send visual information to the brain, and then the brain needs to INTERPRET the information, COMMUNICATE with other areas of the brain, and ORGANIZE the information to make sense of it all for a proper response.
